Accuracy comes before speed
In a Yes and No comparison, choose Yes only when both sides are exactly identical. Choose No when a digit, symbol, order or length differs. Read in small groups rather than relying on the overall shape of the number.
Practise a steady left-to-right comparison and pay special attention to repeated digits, transposed positions and similar-looking groups.
Build a reliable checking rhythm
Short timed sets help reduce hesitation. If errors increase, slow down briefly and return to a consistent grouping method before increasing pace again.
